Another update on Landon. Sounds like he is really improving. Hope to see him at home soon.

We are all back in the Windypig now. Mom and Landon arrived with the flight medical team around 4:30pm yesterday and Dad not to far behind at 7:30 pm. It's nice to be home. Landon is all set up at the Childrens Hospital and ready to make his last few steps on getting home. Landon still has a ventalator tube up his nose and in to his lungs which should be removed within a couple of days. We ask that he has no visitors until the tube is removed because when he is awake, he gags, coughs, yawns and cries which causes him a great deal of discomfort. Landon fights very hard not to fall asleep because he needs to know whatever is going on around him. The more he can sleep on his own , the more quickly he will recover. Thank you all for your prayers and concerns which really comforted us in our time of need.

On another note, some of you may know I process Payroll as my job. Well up here in Canada our deadline to get T4's tax slips is February 28th at midnight. Well at 4:50pm this afternoon I mailed the last of them (Ruth - yours is in the mail). It had been a stressful couple of weeks because we switched from Ceridian processing our payroll to me doing it myself part way through the year. This made it very complicated trying to make sure the T4's were all correct. Oh well, what can ya do? I will have to make a couple of changes once I receive my reports from Ceridian sometime this week and then next year everything will go MUCH smoother.

On a hockey note - my son Cody plays hockey for the Ste. Anne Aces - he plays left wing on the PeeWee team. They are currently playing in the playoffs. Our first round was against Pinawa. The first two games were in Pinawa and we won them both. Then we played them last night in Ste. Anne, if we won this one we would go on to play for the Championship. well we kicked some butt. We had a shut out - the final score was 5-0. Woohoo. Now I think we will end up playing against Springfield (they play out of Oakbank) as they are the top team in the league. We'll have to wait and see how their round went against Beausejour. I'll keep you all updated.
