Baby Landon update

Yesterday Landon received another x ray which showed that his lungs were a little bit wet. They gave him some meds that will help him get rid of the extra fluid. Landon has been fed every three hours and has been taking it well. His milk intake will increase as well as the extra protein he gets through I.V. Landon is responding like a real baby with movement, smiles and cries. This morning he was taken off the milrinone and his nitric oxide level reduced to on part per million. Landons oxygen input level was reduced to 34% and once down in the 20's he can be taken off the ventalator. Landon is making his own agenda and is planning to go back to Winnipeg early next week but will have a short visit at the Childrens Hospital before coming home. No one estimated that he would progress so quickly. All of your thoughts and prayers have helped a great deal. We could never show enough gratitude to everyone for your support. You all proved that there is nothing more powerful than love and faith. Thank you everyone.

Looks like he will be home soon. Woohoo.
