Brrr...

Is it just me or is this winter colder than most? It seems like it's been colder than -30C since we were in Mexico in December. It can leave anytime now.

We're heading back to Mexico in late March - with Robin's parents (finally!) We've been trying to get them to go for a few years now and they are finally coming. We decided to go now instead of next winter in case we don't have the $ to go then. Otherwise the Westjet credit is gonzo. I can't complain about going, except that just after we booked everything, our truck broke down. A friend of ours if fixing it which will be cheaper, but will still cost me $1200. I have one more puppy to sell and then I'll have most of it - I'm hoping to have it fixed before we leave for Mexico.

The kids are doing good. Tamara turns 13 on Thursday (wow! where does the time go??) and Morgan turns 11 on the 19th of February. As mean as it might sound, I count the years til Morgan is an adult..the closer she gets means the closer we get to (hopefully) moving to Mexico. :-) Robin hasn't been on the road as much during January which isn't good. He doesn't make any money sitting here. Most farmers don't ship animals in the winter so it's been slow. Hopefully the weather gets warmer soon and the loads start getting more frequent.

On a sad note, it sounds like the girl I am replacing at Loewen is coming back in April, so I'm on the hunt for a new job. Wish me luck and if you hear of anything, pass it along. I can do almost anything in an office.
