CCMA's

well this past week I was lucky enough to volunteer at the CCMA's (Canadian Country Music Awards). I had a BLAST! Was able to meet lots of new people (not just Country Stars) but people from CBC, CMT, magazine people, band managers, etc. I started Friday night and was done about 1am Monday (the night of the show). I had a couple late nights, Sunday being the latest (got home at 4:15am).

I met Derrick Ruttan, Paul Brandt, Terri Clark, The Wilkinsons, Jason Blaine, Jaydee Bixsby, JD Clarke, Doc Walker (Manitoba boys), Michelle Wright..I've got my picture taken with a few, but have to wait for someone else to email them to me. I'll post them once I have them.

The kids are back in school (woohoo) and so far so good. They are each in different schools for the first time ever. Cody is in Grade 10 (Oh my word!!), Tamara is in Grade 7 and Morgan is in Grade 5. I can't believe Cody is already in the same grade I was when I had him. :-( Scary thought.

Cody starts hockey soon..oh yay...NOT. I was hoping he wouldn't want to play this year..no such luck. Oh well, he has another 3 years then he's done for good.

Robin's still on the road - he's been doing mostly local loads...which is good, he's home more often then but he doesn't make as much $$. Hopefully the longer loads start again soon.
