Hey there,
OK, so the realtor is coming from Royal Lepage to list our house this afternoon. We have switched from Remax to Royal Lepage because we didn't like the Remax agent's attitude toward us/our house. So we'll see what we get from this realtor.
On a puppy note, I sold 5 puppies from last Thursday to Sunday. :o) This makes me happy since I was wondering if I would have enough to pay for Mexico this winter. A couple came from Winnipeg, LaBroquerie, Pine Falls and another from Winnipeg. The last couple took the two males because they didn't want one to be lonely. I think they are all nice homes and the puppies will be happy.
As for the house, we sign the final paperwork tonight accepting the counter-offer and it sounds like the new realtor already had a call from someone interested in our house (or one similar) so he is wanting to show it on Friday. Hopefully it all goes smoothly.
We have done some major & minor renovations to our current house in order for it to look better to potential buyers. We knew there was water under the linoleum in the bathroom, but when we started tearing it up to replace it we found water had gotten all the way down to the sub-floor. NOT good! We spent 10-11 hours working on it on Sunday. It's finally done and looks good. We also replaced the linoleum in the main hallway with indoor/outdoor carpet and put new baseboards down. I think it turned out awesome! we have to put new baseboards in the bathroom today and then replace the livingroom carpet. All for $550 - not bad. Now the kids want to know if we can stay there now that we are making it look nice.

House update
Well we put in an offer last night and they came back with a counter-offer that we have agreed to. So it looks like we have bought ourselves a new house pending the sale of our current house. The only way it won't be ours is if someone else offers him a better deal. So far no one has. Our anticipated possession date would be October 1 if our house sells in the next month.

This picture is of only half the sunroom. We'll finish the walls and ceiling and it will be nice in there. :o)
I'll post more pictures as time goes on - we will need to get in there to finish the basement before we move in.
Changes...
Hi everyone,
Well a couple of things - one: I have changed the way this site looks. Hopefully it will be easier on the eyes :o)
Second: this is a link to a house we are looking at potentially buying. We'll see how everything plays out. It's almost twice the size of our current house and 10 times the property we have which would be great for the kids learning to ride quads, dirt bikes, etc.

On the home front, the kids are back home now and so I am back to cleaning every day. :S We are having a garage sale this coming weekend, the kids have decided what they want to sell and so that means cleaning their rooms. Plus if we want to buy this new house, we have to sell the current one. Therefore, all the rooms need to be cleaned. We are hoping the real estate agent can come take a look at our place sometime on the weekend - that gives me 4-5 days to clean my butt off. Fun fun.
I still have all 5 puppies left, I figured I would wait another week before putting them back in the paper. Most people are still on vacation and so they aren't really thinking of puppies quite yet. It's $32 for 2 weeks in the buy and sell plus online.

Where to start? First off - we still have 5 adorable puppies left. We have sold one. At this rate, we'll never get to Mexico. :o( Oh well, I'm not worried - they will all get sold.
I am in the midst of trying to make a big change in my life - I don't want to post anything here until it's definite. I don't know who reads this site, but I certainly don't want the wrong people to find out. I'll keep you posted on any changes.
The kids are all gone this coming week - so we'll see how much we can get done around the house and yard. There are lots of things I would like to see get cleaned up and fixed.
