Ally popped!!

Ally had her puppies last Thursday - I stayed home with her for a couple of hours in the morning - just in case...Robin checked on her at lunchtime - no puppies! The kids got home at 4 and POOF! she had 5...when I got home at 6:00 she had 6 and by 8:00 she had 8!! Thankfully that's all she had because I don't think she would have had enough milk for any more! Here's a picture of the proud Mama with her babies:

As with her last litter, she had every color possible..black, brown and blonde...so far I've received 5 emails for them...maybe I can have them pre-sold by the time they're 3 weeks old...that would be nice. :o)

Well it's fall..

Seems like fall is now here... where did my summer go? It seems like I blinked and it's almost winter. School has started - the girls have been in their new school for a month now - so far so good. They are pretty fluent in French compared to the French they learn in school. Both had gotten permission from their teachers to correct them if they say something incorrectly in French. They're pretty happy about that. :o) Cody is registered for Hockey - $550 later plus equipment of $350... it keeps him out of trouble for the most part..

We've spent a lot of time this year on our quads - I think we've been to every Derby in the Southeast. Piney, Marchand, St. Malo, St. Jean Baptiste, Warren, Piney again and Marchand again. I've also gone to more concerts this year than ever... I've seen Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill...still to come this year is Brad Paisley, Paul Brandt and we're also going to Just for Laughs for Robin's Birthday in November. We've camped a few times this year - mostly while ATVing. We've been to Regina and Minneapolis this summer... we had fun in both places.

My chocolate brown Cocker Spaniel is due any day - she is HUGE! She looks like she will pop anytime. When we take her for walks she gets half way and then figures she can lay down until you come back with the other two..lol I can sympathize with her as anyone else that has been pregnant can...I know I didn't really like walking at 9 months..

On Sunday my parents came out to help Robin wire together my lamp post lights that I bought a couple of years ago - they've been sitting in the garage waiting to be put up...they got them all wired together and dug in - they look good. I also put up my Christmas lights and at the same time I figured I'd start putting up my Halloween decorations. We used to live in the country and no one ever came for candy so I never decorated much. This year we live in town so I went a little crazy on the decorations. Here's a few pictures:

Just a little overboard do ya think? Some teenagers were walking by last night and making comments that I'm 29 days early for my decorations...what is the point in spending all the time to put them up for just a few days? :o) I like to enjoy them as long as I can...if you're every in Steinbach - stop in and take a look..I can make Hot Chocolate in 30 seconds... :o)
