Sometimes I get carried away...
Anyone that knows me knows that I am addicted to buying village pieces. Robin's mom started it years ago by buying us a "tavern". Here are some pictures of what it looks like today.

It now takes up a full kitchen table and I have many more pieces that I don't have room for. It has a grocery, store, two churches, city hall, a dress shop, a bakery, railroads, etc. Nevermind the residential section - we have a park, a ski hill, skating rink as well as a farm with chickens, pigs, cows, horses, donkey and geese - All in ONE enclosure. Talk about not biosecure! I love my not so little village. My grandmother keeps sending me parts of her village - when will the village finally be done? When I have all the houses, shops and accessories there are. :o) In other words, NEVER!
On another note, next to my children, these next pictures are of my pride and joy...

The Chocolate brown one is Ally and the one standing is Skip and the blonde one that is sitting is my baby Misty. She is probably the best dog I have ever had.
OK, I think that's it for now. Take care.
New friend...
I had a new friend show up today and I'm still not sure what I shall do with her. Here is a few pictures of her:

I don't want another cat - I just got rid of one when we moved. I found her in the yard meowing her little head off. I wonder if I should print some posters to put up and see if anyone lost her. She doesn't look to be very old - maybe 5-6 weeks. We'll see.
Well anyone that knows me knows I LOVE holidays - any holiday will do. I decorate for them all. Well I thought I would post some pictures of this Christmas' decorations. Here they are:
Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas... we sure have had a busy couple of weeks at our house. We are almost all moved in. We have a few more things to get from the old house and some cleaning to do. The other people move in January 8th, so we have a little bit of time.
The kids are gone this week - Cody to Alberta to visit his grandparents and relatives. Tamara and Morgan to their Dad's. I think they had a good Christmas, they each got MP3 players, TV?DVD combo's and (used) computers from my parents as well as some little stuff. We'll see what they come back with from everywhere else.
I visited with the ladies at Nutri-Health Group on Wednesday. I miss them terribly. It turns out Holly is going to have a baby, Kristen is leaving January 17th and Sjoerd is moving on to Steinbach Credit Union. Things sure happen quickly. It seems like yesterday was my last day - but in reality it's been over 2 months.
Well I think that's about it for now. Take care and have a wonderful new year.
It's MOVING DAY!!!
Well it's here - moving day. We officially get the keys tonight and start moving stuff in. Tamara has packed my entire house for me - what a nice daughter she is. :o)
Turns out Cody's principal wouldn't let Cody stay at the Ste. Anne school, so he changes to Steinbach Junior High School on Monday. I think today would have been tough on him. Afterall, we were only told yesterday that he would have to transfer. One day to say goodbye to the friends you have grown up with for 5 years... not fair if you ask me. I hope he does OK at the new school, it's tough transferring part way through the year. We'll see how it goes.
That's it for now.
