So sorry
Hi everyone,Sorry for not posting in quite a while - we've been busy camping and doing yardwork and planting flowers. Not much is new at our house. The kids are all gone this week - the girls are at Camp Nutimik and Cody is in Edmonton with his grandma. He likes going there to visit his cousins and aunts and uncles. He doesn't get to see them much because they live so far away.
On the Canada Day long weekend, my wonderful father build me a miniature barn - here is a picture of it:
Isn't it a beautiful barn? Only $250 and you could have one just like it. :o) I had to paint it and I added the door and windows afterwards. I am now looking for some kind of horse to attach the wagon to (it's in front of the barn). If anyone knows where I can find one, please let me know. We are going to get a sign made that says "Welcome to Pennbridge Acres" (Penn for Penner and Bridge for Wallbridge)
As you can see there are flowers around the barn. Every year I purchase $100-$150 worth of flowers to plant around the yard. I usually make my own planters - I made 3 planters when we built the deck 2 years ago and I recently finished another one. The new one is 2ft X2ft and it turned out quite nice. I'll post a picture once I take one. Here are a couple of pictures of the ones on the deck:
And here is a picture of some Hostas I have in the front yard - if you take care of them they will produce flowers and so far I guess I have been taking care of them because 3 of the 5 are flowering.
They don't look very big, but only because I had to fit them all in. :o)
I should have new pictures of the puppies by Monday so I will try to post them then. I need to get them in the paper soon.
