sorry for being neglectful
Hi everyone,Sorry for not posting anything in a month - but things are taking a bit longer to do with my arm in a cast. My arm is doing good, once in a while I try to move it the wrong way and it hurts. I am supposed to get the cast off on May 30 - woohoo! I am so sick of it. I can't wait to have a shower without a bag on my arm and to do dishes again. I know - sounds silly, but for the last 6+ weeks Robin has had to do everything around the house. I feel bad for him especially since he is taking two courses at the U of W on Tues & Thurs nights. Between homework and housework, he has had no time to relax.
We went camping for the first time as a whole family for the May Long Weekend. We went up to Otter Falls in the Whiteshell Park. Here is a picture of my view:
Gorgeous isn't it? We fell in love with the site. We were able to dock the boat right at our site and just get in it and go in the mornings. We have reserved it for the weekend of June 2-3-4. After that it is pretty much booked solid so we will have to find somewhere else to go. :o( We took the boat with us to do some fishing. We all caught a couple of fish each. One of mine was the biggest catch of the weekend. Here is a picture:

Saturday night was COLD! We froze our butts off - I don't remember ever being that cold in my life. We finally convinced Morgan to come onto the air mattress at 3am and then we used her blanket as well as ours. Then Sunday night we got smarter. We turned the air mattress around and we fit 4 people on it - we shared 5 blankets between all of us. And where did Cody sleep you ask - in the TRUCK! He learnt his lesson 2 weekends ago when we slept in the truck and he froze his butt in the tent. Smart kid. Overall we had a good weekend, the girls learnt how to work together to get things done faster. Maybe next time we can build on that some more.
